Thank GOD for Chevron. I was going out of my mind with all the indie rock we'd received for this issue, and this was the last record I had left to do. I was immediately happy to hear it start up, crunchy distortion in a jazz-timing hardcore setting. Guitar driven instrumental mathy hardcore. Beautiful. It made my night. Builds, crescendos, time shifts, awe-inspiring guitar riffs..all present. Splendid.

Instrumental isn't for everyone, granted, but this is an appealing 7". The songs bend from loud to quiet but maintain a free form style that just makes my ears happy (plus not an acoustic guitar in site, thankfully). Plus it was pressed on toothpaste colored, marbled vinyl. Nice job all around.
